Please bring a cold lunch with you (e.g. sandwiches, salad, etc.); we do not have any food preparation areas for the heating up of food, but we do have refrigeration facilities. Please avoid bringing food that has strong aromas as this is not only a training room but also a treatment room.

  • Please bring some flip-flops or other indoor shoes with you to wear around the treatment room.
  • Refreshments such as tea, fruit teas, coffee and water are all provided

Please also bring four large bath towels and one hand towel; these will be used by yourself during the practical training session. Please note that Brighton Holistics do not supply towels for training. We also recommend bringing a dressing gown or modesty wrap for your model to use while in the training room. For further information on modesty wraps please click here.

Training manuals and certifications

Brighton Holistics produces all its own training manuals, we don’t expect you to pay for a course and then have to pay for your training materials.

Training manuals will be downloadable to each learner via their online learning portal. These manuals will be available to you once your course has started. It will be the learner’s responsibility to download and save the training manuals within this time. Manuals can be read on all devices.

Certification for your course will be emailed to you once you have met the learning outcomes.

How many learners will be in the class?

A maximum of four learners per class, this allows the tutor to monitor learners progress and development. As training is given in small groups, learners will be required to bring a model for each day of the training course, for you to practice the treatment on. Learners do not practice treatments on each other as this reduces the learning time by half. Please see the booking terms and conditions for information.

Why train with Brighton Holistics?

Brighton Holistics started teaching learners in 2006. We have become well known for our standard of education and training therapists to meet their full potential during this time. For us, a training school, we are incredibly passionate that every learner meets their full potential to become the best therapist they can be. During this time have won awards for our education standards and the service we offer our learners.

Our training team are handpicked because they have shown the qualities, we believe make them good tutors. Each tutor must have a minimum of three years of experience in the modality they are teaching and must be a practising therapist.

During your time with us, we maximise the learning time to make sure that you get as much practical time as possible. We tend to cover theory in the morning and practical in the afternoon. During your time with us, we make sure that all learning outcomes have been reached comfortably, ensuring that you have the confidence to deliver the modality you are studying.

We are one of the very few training schools that issue diploma certification and not basic CPD or course attendance certification. With this in mind, learners must submit case studies before a diploma certification can be issued. Completing case studies demonstrates to the assessor that you have fully understood the treatment, and if the assessor picks up from the case studies that you haven’t fully understood the treatment, this can then be addressed by ongoing support. Quality of therapy is so important to us as it will be for you and your therapy business.

Please note – Brighton Holistics Treatment and Training rooms are based on one site in Brighton unless otherwise expressly stated. Trading only as Brighton Holistics and disclaiming association, representation or responsibility of other treatment, therapy or massage schools containing the naming or links to Brighton.
