It is important that as a learner you make sure that the course you want to learn is one that meets the National Occupation Standards and the Core Curriculum and allows you to work as a qualified therapist.
Please note that some insurance companies do not accept certificated courses, course attendance or non-accredited training.
We are extremely proud of our accreditation as Brighton Holistics is a registered college for the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC), Vocational Training Charity Trust (VTCT), the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), Complementary Health Professionals (CPH) and International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA).
Accreditation means that the course we provide has been independently and externally assessed, ensuring they meet the highest standards, the National Occupation Standards, and the Core Curriculum. The accreditation is an ongoing process ensuring that courses are always up to date and that the tutors meet the modality’s requirements for teaching.
All the training staff are highly qualified therapists with a minimum of five year’s therapy experience before they can teach. All our Tutors hold teaching qualifications and are registered with the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT), and registered on the Accredited Voluntary Register (AVR) by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA).
Please note that one-day courses or online courses in Sports/Body Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy etc. are not recognised qualifications. This means they do not meet the National Occupational Standard or Core Curriculum, this means that you will not be able to use the online course for professional practice.
If you require any help or advice regarding your training course or course accreditation, please don’t hesitate to call Brighton Holistics on 01273 672 690.
